What CampaignLint accesses

After you click the extension, CampaignLint reads the URL of the active HTTP or HTTPS page so you can create a tagged version. It processes the campaign values you enter and stores only the presets, settings, generated-link history, and license state you deliberately create.

Local storage

URL building and naming validation happen locally. Presets, settings, generated-link history, and the local Pro state use Chrome extension storage. Incognito-generated links are not added to history. Clear History and Clear All Local Data controls are provided in the extension.

External transmission

If you choose Pro, payment details are entered on Lemon Squeezy's hosted checkout, not in the extension. When you activate, validate, or deactivate Pro, the extension sends the license key and device instance identifier over HTTPS to Lemon Squeezy's license service. CampaignLint does not retain customer name or email fields returned by that service.

Data sharing and advertising

We do not sell personal information, use browsing data for advertising, or allow humans to review generated URLs. License data is shared with Lemon Squeezy only to provide the purchased entitlement or as required by law or security obligations.

Retention and control

Local data remains until you clear it or uninstall the extension. License-provider records are governed by Lemon Squeezy's policies and applicable law.

Limited Use

CampaignLint's use of information received from Chrome APIs is limited to providing and improving its single user-facing purpose and complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
